remember that pokémon meme i did before? well i just found one based on pokémon mystery dungeon and i was instantly like "OH HELL YEAH" because i am mystery dungeon trash

i actually found it on tumblr so idk if it was made by someone on tumblr or deviantart or whatever... but anyway, it looks fun! and i'm generally more comfortable with doing these things on deviantart than i am on tumblr, so i'm doing it here B)

if humans don't exist in the mystery dungeon world, then what exactly is portrayed on that mask that yamask holds? is yamask the ghost of a human who came to the pokémon world but failed to save the world? is yamask the ghost of a human-like pokémon like gardevoir or machamp? what is yamask's secret? what secrets does that mask hold? who knows

...i feel like that would end up being a major part of the story later on

this little guy can be heard singing nice little songs in various mystery dungeons across the continent... and when people don't like their songs, they shoot out their spores in anger

i can imagine this guy making smart-ass comments as they guide me, such as constantly saying that they're the better water-type, and that i need to hurry up with whatever i'm doing, or making fun of my voltorb friend, but we can't really stand up against them because they're the only one that can tell us where we need to go

but in the end they probably grow to respect us more and apologise for being an asshole
