HEYO MORE X AND Y NEWS
Soooo, mega evolution! Corocoro leaked it and Game Freak confirmed it a few days later! It seems like it'll be a temporary effect for battles, but we can't really be sure.
My opinion? I think the designs look really cool, but I'm a little wary of the concept itself. I'm happy about some single-evolution Pokémon like Mawile and Absol getting the boost (actually, I'm VERY happy that Mawile got it), but I feel that Pokémon like Blaziken, Lucario and Ampharos are already powerful enough as it is. :/ But yeah, I like all of the designs (even if MegaAmpharos' fabulous hair is kinda silly), and I'm so happy that Game Freak is taking risks and trying new things!
What do you guys think? Love it? Hate it? On the fence?
Some people are saying that Pokémon's ripping off Digimon, but I've never seen Digimon, so I wouldn't know if that's accurate or not. 
oh and the new Pokémon that have been shown look pretty cool! The new electric rodent is adorable as ever ahaha
also I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT MAWILE GETTING A MEGA EVOLUTION BECAUSE I HAVE WANTED MAWILE TO HAVE AN EVOLUTION SINCE I FIRST PLAYED GEN 3 BECAUSE I REALLY LIKED ITS DESIGN AND WAS SAD THAT I COULDN'T USE IT THAT MUCH BECAUSE IT DIDN'T EVOLVE
